I recently received this message from Neale Donald Walsch and wanted to share it with you because I know I have often been the queen of "Why's" : why did he do that?, why did this happen?, why did he/she say that?, ad nauseam!
Neale's message is a great reminder that asking "Why" gets you nowhere but further down the rabbit hole.
"...why is the most useless question in the universe. The only question with any meaning is "What?"
Asking "Why is this happening?" can only disempower you. Asking "What do I want to make of this?" does exactly the opposite.
Here is a great secret: the Why of anything is to produce the What of everything.
Wonderful reminder to be action oriented with a solution rather than wallow with a Why that will never give you any answer or contentment.
So next time you find yourself asking "Why?" go straight to the "What" and you'll save yourself lots of mental energy:-)
