I love this meditative thought from Agape's Michael Beckwith:
It's important to understand that change and growth are not the same thing. Through change we might improve the human personality and thus navigate our world more smoothly, but that may simply be superficial manipulation under the guise of spiritual transformation. Don't be fooled. We must begin to dissolve the hidden beliefs and patterns that keep us stuck at a particular stage of development by activating our spiritual will. Activating spiritual will allows us to transcend previously held points of view;we become receptive and recognize that our next level of growth is at hand. We stand before the choice to enter the "Yes" of it. That Yes is our transportation to transformation.
