Whenever I’m able, I start my Sunday's with Michael Beckwith’s inspiration (you know, the guy from the Secret) at Agape, his Spiritual Center. I know without a doubt the message will be exactly what I need to hear. And today was no exception. The topic – A Dimensional Shift.
Loosely translated this was a sermon on forgiveness, surrender and change. He spoke of his own recent experience meditating and seeing dark, scary dimensions and then a booming voice saying, “I completely forgive myself,” and miraculously...
the frightening visions vanished. Peace and a beautiful, invincible light, his pure essence, were all that was left.
Hearing this was mighty but when he had us start to sing and repeat the mantra, “I forgive myself, I surrender, I am ready for change,” all I can say is WOW. There was a floodgate of emotion surfacing not only for me but for all those around me as well.
Can so many people be punishing themselves, letting past experiences rob them of peace and the life they dream of?? If someone as enlightened as Michael Beckwith had this experience the whole world must need to forgive themselves - right?? No wonder there is so much anger in the world, people are at unrest within.
As Dr. Michael passionately points out – all forgiveness is self-forgiveness. It’s imperative to free yourself from the toxicity of what’s running through your mind.
Next you must surrender and this doesn’t mean to give up – it means surrender to the greatness that is in you so that you can move up to the next stage of evolution. Change will magically follow.
Something interesting happened as I was walking out, the gentleman who had been sitting to my left came up and asked if he could share a thought. He went on to say this was only the third time he had been to Agape – but something told him to attend today. He was very moved and said he wanted me to know what a profound message it was for him, and how much he needed to hear it… and then he turned and was gone.
This gentle man left me thinking that people all over the world are ready to forgive and surrender and change their paradigm. People all over the world are ready to share their enlightenments and connect on a heart level with complete strangers. People all over the world are waking up…are you?
