Did you ever consider how much women are like diamonds? We share the same exact traits: brilliance, strength, sparkle, beauty and femininity. We're both multi-faceted and possess unparalleled value. It gets even better...when I looked diamond up in wikipedia I was thrilled to see it's derived from the ancient Greek word adamas which means "invincible" - Rock On!
Check out this comparison...similar to a woman who comes into her own thru life's trials and tribulations this gemstone simmers deep in the earth and is brought to it's beautiful crystal formation thru high pressure and temperature. Double Rock On!!
And all the different hues remind me of our divinely colorful moods: yellow, brown, red, pink, blue, violet, orange, purple, green, grey and of course the uber popular colorless stone symbolic of clarity.
We all know that diamonds are a girls best friend - where would we be without our natural support system of girlfriends?
